Makita has a legacy of innovation in the cordless impact driver category, and the 18V LXT® Brushless 4-Speed Impact Driver (XDT20) sets new standards. The XDT20 offers 4-speed power selections (0-1,100/ 0-2,100/ 0-3,200/ 0-3,600 RPM & 0-1,100/ 0-2,600/ 0-3,600/ 0-3,800 IPM) which provides precise fastening control for a wide range of applications.

The Impact Driver features Assist Mode (A-mode) which helps eliminate “screw cam-out” and “cross threading” by driving at low speed until tightening begins. It also features two Tightening Modes (T-mode) for faster tightening of self-drilling screws in thick or thin gauge metal that helps prevent damage to the screw or workpiece. The XDT20 delivers industry-leading performance in a compact and ergonomic design.

  1. Give us more torque. stop changing the dress on the same motor and make bigger batteries while you are at it. Even the 40v impacts and drill are very under powered compared to everyone else. Even ryobi is pushing higher numbers for half the price. Get it together makita people are starting to smell the bullshit.

  2. 1590 inch pounds?? So like 180nm? Why so underpowered though?

Considering other brands are easily hitting 200nm and above 🤔

Just can’t see what the selling point would be, especially at such a price. Maybe I’m missing something though…
