  1. I bought this. Hose is too short for my needs. I'm a commercial plumber and always defend my beloved dewalt tools, but being on a very strict osha gvt job, and buying this and the DWH050K to drill holes overhead to get them off my back about silica dust now leads to them writing me up for having to put the vac on a ladder (Seriously, not kidding). I just bought a 3rd party 16' hose that I'm waiting for to see if I can make this work, but if not, I will be returning it. For anyone thinking of pairing this with the DWH050K (thing he holds at the end), keep in mind that the hose is quite rigid and having it mounted on a ceiling you lose 2' just between the connection and where the hose is now vertical (an elbow on the DWH050K would solve that, hint hint dewalt), so on a normal job from slab to slab above, the hose will be too short. It's half the length needed… HALF! The minimum you would need for these two items, the vac and the DWH050K is 13' and then you will need to have the vac right under you and move it every hole you drill. Manufacturers always short us on the size of cords to save a buck, for a vacuum having such a short hose that's toted to use the attachments that this is? It's just bad business, and having to shop around outside of dewalt to buy the "CORRECT" length hose has really left a bad mark for me. If all you do is low wall cuts, then great, but you're less than 50 percent of the people that will be considering such a vac.

  2. Does DeWalt have plans to design, make, and sell, a PAPR powered air breather mask? I would buy one right now. Have it use existing DeWalt 20 volt max batteries and be compatible with various types of screw on HEPA filters. Brush less variable speed motor with long run time. I hope DeWalt is already in the works designing and ramping up to sell these in the new world of Covid-19.

  3. Your products and support stink. Bought a new 14 inch 20 volt trimmer and it vibrates bad contacted support and was told I had to take it to a service center for a technician to verify it vibrates bad. When I searched for one it was 86 miles away. Today I tried an old echo head I had that fits right on and the vibration is gone. Your support could have done some investigation and swapped out a head instead of making me not recommend your products in my review video. I think I made a mistake going with your 20v max line.
