  1. One thing I’ve noticed about electric AC or DC saws is because they have no clutch and the torque is delivered differently they aren’t smooth as a regular Stihl two stroke. This could also be more noticeable on hardwoods and especially because they have no electric motor and bar are not insulated with springs from the user. So ad a clutch and isolation if you want to reduce fatigue.

  2. Battery powered chainsaw aren't for production/real lumberjack at all. They are for the average guy (like me) that rarely or don't use chainsaw so much but could do few hours from time to time with multiples battery he had for his others tools.

  3. im waiting for them to adda grease cert to the 3/8 ratchet so i dont have to keep warrantying mine out

  4. I don’t know, gas has still got chainsaws locked down. Electric is great, but use it to cut down a fifteen foot diameter cedar oak trees and let me know how long that lasts. I have a lot of Milwaukee tools and love them but this would be great for around the house, not a legit arborist. I could be wrong, it all depends on the battery life.

  5. Now use it for hours in the woods. I’m part of the red army but gas is still king in big chain saws. I love the little ones but I can’t be bringing a few thousand dollars in batteries with me
