The table is just so thin. It’d be okay for light hobby work like painting figurines or knitting or something but if you want to hammer stuff or clamp some vices to it and do some real building it seems way to flimsy for that. Wiring electronics, some steps of light jewelry making processes and stuff like that are suitable for this table. Anything where some force or weight will be applied to the table seem like they would break it.
You can buy the lift brackets separately for like 20 bucks if you want a different size desk setup and you're into messing around with wood. They are very strong

Diss Ryobi all you want, but they make a lot of cool stuff outside their typical normal-use power tools. Plenty of neat things for special projects and hobbying. 🙂
