  1. when changing the blade. once the new blade is on. then you Press the sPindle Lock and turn the blade screw. as your turning the blade screw the SPindle Lock should keeP the blade/motor from rotation? just like when Pressing the sPindle Lock when removing the blade screw? i just Purchased the r3205 and when tightening the blade screw, the SPindle Lock is not keePing the SPindle/motor/blade from turning when tightening.

  2. Love my 7.25" Ridgid sidewinder. To change the blade, I secure the blade in a wood vice, then use a wrench to loosen the lock nut to prevent busted knuckles, Forget using that allen wrench! This is a really nice saw, enjoy using it.
