  1. wouldn't be nice if Craftsman would comment on there own post? I can't bump, pull or restart to get more feed. I have to take the cap off manually. Pain in the ass.

  2. I bought one of these a couple days ago. After using it to trim my yard I discovered that line wasn't being fed automatically. I spent 3 hours yesterday trying to discover when and if line was being automatically fed. I read the manual and found no clues. After watching the line on the uncovered side of the trimmer while picking off gravel on my concrete driveway, I learned that the trimmer doesn't feed line except when the trimmer is starting from a dead stop. A quarter inch at a time. It works. A simple sentence in the owner/instruction manual would have saved me from becoming frustrated with this tool.
