  1. When will the ONE+ HP Advanced 18V Brushless Cordless Advanced WHISPER Series Stick Vacuum Kit with 4.0 Ah Battery and Charging Docking Station PBLSV719K be available to purchase?

  2. I gave Ryobi lots of chances (and money!) as I love the idea of having one kind of battery for all your tools, but it's been a major let down, specially with their vacuums… we got the house vacuum as well as the pool vacuum and they both broke so easily after the warranty expired and Ryobi even discontinued some of them, I guess due to the horrible quality they had… so I got stuck with 2 very expensive vacuums that were broken with nobody to help me with the problem…

  3. I will buy to upgrade my other Ryobi vacuums. I just worry about the durability the system and hope they fixed some of these issues.

The wheels break off too easy
The stick itself after heavy use loosens easily where the contact point feeding the electrical currents to the vacuum head stops.

There are homemade fixes for these, but I shouldn't have to. I would pay extra for better build quality.

For the wheels instead of plastic notches holding them in, they should be built like suitcase caster wheels, attached with a metal bolt.

The stick, instead of the plastic button holding it together, should be a strong connection to prevent the joint from being loosened.

As a professional commercial cleaner, I like battery systems, as they minimize the total time of cleaning by not having to deal with cords, and the stick options provide a quick transition form using the head for floors having a crevice tool. I Like the Ryobi ecosystem for other cleaning tools, but the vacuums need major structure change to be durable.

  4. Moving to cleaning services? Its a good idea, if you make a backpack shop vac, make it hold 2 batteries please. Don’t worry, I’m fully aware of the current limits batteries (in general) hold. So letting it hold 2 would be great. Also also, just another idea, downgrade the 18v sprayer to the USB Lithium. The 18v bottle is great, the battery, kind of big. I’m pretty sure the overall sprayer size will shrink but the motor will be similarly strong. I think that’s a good combo!

  5. The gasket for the dust container is easily lost while emptying. Why aren’t replacement gaskets available ? I spent 20 minutes on hold to be told replacement gaskets were only $.77 each — but they were out of stock with no availability date known. Oh — and shipping is $8. Why doesn’t Home Depot have them?
