Our M12™ Brushless Pruning Shears deliver the fastest, most controlled pruning while reducing fatigue. These pruning shears deliver the power to cut up to 1-1/4” branches while providing the ability to lock the blades into half of that capacity through the mode select board, increasing application speed by 40%. The M12™ Brushless Pruning Shears reduce muscle effort by 75% compared to manual solutions allowing users to complete tough applications with ease and speed. The Active Blade Control enables the blade movement to follow the trigger movement, providing more control over the cut capacity during application. This, combined with the mode select and lightweight, inline design, offers better accessibility and control in intricate pruning applications. When paired with the M12™ CP2.0 Battery, these pruning shears deliver up to 1,000 cuts per charge in ½” branches. The M12™ Brushless Pruning Shears are fully compatible with 150+ solutions within the M12™ system.

I can’t get the battery off?
Was excited about this. I prune professionally, so need good tools to reduce repetitive strain injuries. The moment I took it out of the box, I was bummed. Too unbalanced and heavy to be practical, at least for me. Gave it a few rounds at work and my fear was confirmed. Amazing cutting capacity. Lots of potential. Even though I have dozens of Milwaukee battery tools and wanted this to work, I got a Pellenc system instead (around half the weight and the head isnt trying to nose dive, like a poorly balanced guitar). Hope they revise this.
If Milwaukee is interested, I think balancing the weight out (like a lot of the chinese amazon electric pruners ironically, although those are junk in other ways) and offering a unit with less cutting capacity (in exchange for decreased weight) would work. This can replace a hand pruners and lopper, but I wonder if that's its main drawback: trying to do both. This is just my experience as a horticulturist and I'm sure many others will get a great use of this tool.
Looking forward to the pole pruner next spring.
This tool makes cleaning up the trees and bushes effortless. Unfortunately the upper blade on mine had a chunk break out so going back to HD tomorrow for a replacement. Need better quality control on the metal they’re using in China.

DO NOT BUY THEIRF TOOLS: OVER PRICED AND PRETEND WARRANTEES! Since customer service does nothing I plan to post this on every v video and site I can. I may not get my money back but hopefully I will save others some. For years I have supported Milwaukee tools- until this most recent experience. I purchased multiple batteries, costing several hundred dollars and within less then 2 years none of these products work. I sent them in for warranty coverage- SV5340308- is my reference number- and they are refusing to repair because their manufacturing date is greater than the warrantee time. Now I am unsure about other stores, but when I purchase a tool I go by the date purchased not a manufacturing date I can not see. SCAM!
I’ve been waiting on these for 8 months now. Finally got an email today from Milwaukee saying they are finally available. Used both links from their website to get the tool, charger and battery. The only two places that are suppose to have them available, don’t. One, Home Depot, doesn’t have them. The other is a preorder site that won’t have them until maybe the end of the month. Please don’t announce they are available if they are not.
Nice pruner! When are you going to make an m18 or mx trolling motor?
