I am a self employed plumber and bought a 5 piece combo pack about one year ago. I have been using it EVERY DAY and it's still in great condition. EXCELLENT 👍 Cordless tool set.
I bought a cordless tool assortment at the home Depot, "Ridgid 4.0 Hyper Lithium battery" for my self employed Plumbing company. I got injured 3Weeks later and haven't used any tools yet, EXCEPT Flashlight, drill!! How are these TOOLS on actual 8—12 hours a day JOBS?? And I haven't sent in the paper work?? Am I too LATE for a lifetime warranty?
I wouldn't consider any other tool brand. I have had 2 24v batteries replaced and a 24v hammer drill repaired. No arguments, no hassles. As long as you follow the registration directions to the letter you're good to go.
To purchase the battery alone is $119 so if the regular tool only comes with one battery I guess it is a good deal. Ridgid is now selling their tools as a base tool with no charger or battery so you can create your own combo. I have had great luck with all my Ridgid tools and I don't know of any other cordless tool that offers a free Lifetime Warranty including Battery's. I have had two battery's and a charger replaced for free in the three years that I have owned my five piece combo set.
You have to buy a kit to get the free battery. How is that a sham?
Me too. That fre battery email was a sham. Give me back my 2 minutes. Ill still by ridgid tools though
I would love to know how to get a free lithium battery
